PCSO deputies are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for making a bomb threat at the International Market World in Auburndale.

Around 10:50 a.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2015, an unknown suspect approached an employee at the flea market, located at 1052 US Hwy 92 West in Auburndale, and said that a bomb was about to go off. The suspect then walked away and the employee lost sight of him. The employee immediately reported the threat, which resulted in an evacuation and search of the premises.

“Bomb threats aren’t funny, or cute. Peoples’ lives are interrupted and so many first responders spend hours investigating the threat. We’d like your help to identify this suspect so he can appreciate ALL of the law enforcement resources used during a situation like this – from our first response, to our jail booking facility.”Sheriff Grady Judd

The suspect in this incident is wanted for False Report of a Bomb, which is a 2nd Degree Felony. He is described as a Hispanic male wearing a blue shirt, black gym shorts, black shoes, and sunglasses. A video surveillance photo of the suspect can be seen here.

If anyone recognizes this suspect or has any information about this incident, they are urged to contact Detective Kier at 863-297-1100.
